How to Utilize Garden Storage Sheds to Fit all Your Needs...

A Garden Storage Shed is a great asset to have for any gardener who takes their hobby seriously. Gardening requires all sorts of tools, bags of dirt, packets of seeds and other paraphernalia that are essential to make a yard and garden beautiful and productive. And while these sheds are extremely useful and necessary, they can be made even more so with a few additions.

Start out by having a work table installed along one of the walls inside your shed. This table will be instrumental when it comes to planting flowers in pots and starting your seeds. Situate the table underneath a window where it can receive good light. Not only will the top of the table give you plenty of space to plant, you can also use the space underneath to keep large bags of potting soil, peat moss, and fertilizers.

For some of your other walls, install some shelves to keep things like watering cans, nozzles for hoses, and small hand-held tools such as pruners and spades. If you have small children, you can utilize the upper shelves for the more dangerous gardening chemicals that you don't want them to touch. Try using smaller containers on the shelves to store all of your seed packets. This will ensure that you will be able to easily find them and know which ones you will need to buy for next year.

Installing hooks along one wall will be useful for hanging up larger shovels, hoes, rakes and whatever other tools you want up and out of the way. You can also hang a raincoat on one of the hooks as well so you don't have to drip in the house or garage.
So matter what you use your garden shed for, it should look like it belongs in your landscape and be as beautiful as the rest of your yard.
